Why ethically made matters! Ethical production

Ethical production: because it's better for everyone

Whether or not you're a conscious consumer, it's no secret that ethical brands are changing the fashion industry game - and for all the right reasons. As we become increasingly aware of the effects our choices have on the environment and society, it's vital that we start investing our hard-earned cash into labels that sit at the forefront of the sustainable style movement.

But why do ethical brands matter? Well, for starters, let's take a deep dive into the production process of fast fashion. The creation of those cheap, disposable garments are known to contribute to the depletion of natural resources, as well as generate excessive amounts of textile waste. Unethical labor practices are also prevalent in the fast fashion industry, with workers often being underpaid and overworked in dangerous conditions. We don't know about you, but that's not exactly a vibe we want to be supporting with our shopping habits.

In contrast, ethical brands prioritize transparency, accountability, and sustainability in their production processes. They use high-quality materials that are eco-friendly and long-lasting, as well as work with ethical suppliers and support fair labor practices. By investing in ethical brands, we're doing our part in reducing our carbon footprint and supporting ethical living.

But don't just take our word for it - the stats speak for themselves. In a survey conducted by Fashion Revolution, it was found that 66% of consumers were willing to pay more for sustainable fashion, and that millennials are twice as likely to purchase from a brand that supports social and environmental causes. So not only does investing in ethical brands benefit our planet and its people, but it also makes us feel good about our choices.

In other words, ethical brands aren't just a trend - they're the future of fashion. So the next time you're looking to add to your wardrobe, remember to shop sustainably and support brands that align with your values. You'll thank yourself (and the planet) in the long run.
